A report from High Master Cinya follows:

“A dome of infliction energies has been erected over the Marble City. The forces about to convene are ill equipped to lay siege under these conditions.

The dome seems to have left the catacombs the majority of survivors have taken refuge in un touched. The survivors in the catacombs are in desperate conditions, and emergency rations are running to their last, they cannot hold out much longer.
I ask you to assist in the humanitarian effort of rescuing these civilians.
There is a small pocket of civilians that was in a safe-house above the ground, that is within the affliction field. They had perished, but even for them not all hope is lost. A cache of suspension scrolls was burned to keep their spirits from waning, but I could not carry them out myself, save the two youth I managed to pull along.

I have secured the old tunnel to the Old Wolves Monestary, that we may access the under-city and launch a rescue. We should expect resistance from the undead, and possibly the cities defences.
I will make further scouting runs in hopes to gather more information.
Please, I implore you, help rescue these civilians.

Burning Darkness: AUG 13 -15

In the northwest of Rathenoch's lands in the Wild Lands east of Mizra Atara, and south of the Bakuran mountains, there is a small town near a growing marshland.

The tiny town is modestly built up around a refurbished longhouse, A sign outside says "The Golden Key" and several small modest cabins sit across a small courtyard. A small workshop with a sign " "The Winterborne Trading Company" Next to which has been erected a small guardhouse, with a bell tower.

To the north east across this newly growing marshland is a settlement of Marble City refugees, at its edge is a sign "No Non-Military Personnel Beyond this point: Trespassers will be fired upon."

Here is the skeingate, a mystical portal next to an air skiff (a small hot aircraft of Avian design manned by Dark Elves).

Near the Gate and Skiff-Dock is a small stone hall. Above the door is hung a modest sign "University of Ithilguard" with a small nearby hostel, "The Winterborne Rose."

West, Past the small town's fenced perimeter, is a lush forest dotted with small camps. Deeper still upon a hilltop stands the fortified wooden walls of Fort Brakken.

Deeper yet into the woods there is the small village known as "Nuovi Inizi" Occasionally frequented by local Wild Elves of the Jhen Tribes (known collectively as "the Woad") When they seek trade, or other matters with the settlement.
A ways to the east is a small grove of trees, laden with ancient stones, magical in nature, and a complex ritual circle. Nearby is a small sign that says "University of Ithilguard: site A"
At first the area seems like a serene place. But the Wild Lands hold wild things, and walls are built for reasons.
